Job Description:

• Edit and publish 4-6 biographies per day while leading the team of writers and researchers in supervision of the Editing Supervisor. Edit feature articles for other categories in the magazine when needed.
• Ensure that our biographies have a proper third-person biography structure. Make sure that the biography adheres to our style guidelines. 
• Ensure our writers have correctly summarized their biographies in a chronological format adopted by us. 
• Ensure that published drafts are grammatically correct, adequately descriptive, and written in a neutral point of view. 
• Check if the writer has submitted drafts with appropriate word count, contextual coherence and credible sources.
• Write few Editorials and feature articles per month under the supervision of the Editing Supervisor. 
• Send rewrites if the submitted draft does not meet our expectations. Keep track of the resubmitted pieces and publish them as per standards.
• Guide a team of writers and researchers. Keep track of the frequently repeated issues, and engage in training and disciplinary actions under the supervision of Editing Supervisors.
• Look after the Content Update process and ensure publishing of quality updates. 
• Closely works with editors, publishers, proof-readers, writers, management, and all the other stakeholders.
• Possibly helps the platform to market the biographical work(s)
• Suggest/work with the team in the formation of new categories in the magazine. 
• Write biographies, feature articles and Editorial under you byline when requested.
